Thorup Smed A/S is a family owned company.
Thorup Smed A/S was founded in 1969 by Anton Mikkelsen. He started constructing machines for pallet production in 1990.
In 1997 his son Martin Mikkelsen was trained in the company and after this he graduated from engineering at the University in Aalborg.
Martin Mikkelsen became CEO in Thorup Smed A/S in 2004.
